Description
An ABEC 3 Lager is a roller bearing with a surface tolerance that is measured according to the ABEC standard value. This standard value varies from 1 to 9, with a higher class for greater precision, efficiency and speed capacity. It is important to note that the highest ABEC classes are not necessarily the fastest rotating parts. All quality producers worldwide make at least use of the ABEC 1 class as standard.
Enduro uses the ABEC 3 standard as a minimum standard. The ABEC 3 bearings of Enduro have steel bullets of grade 10 and a job made of chromium 52100 and high -quality carbon. These bearings meet the ABEC 3 standard. Depending on the application, these bearings can use LLU or LLB seals, even when they are marked with 2RS.
Enduro's most popular seal is the LLB seal. This seal consists of a rubber finish with a metal core. In contrast to the standard 2RS seal, the LLB seal has a notch in the inner ring. This notch ensures a smooth rotation and a resistance to lesser bearings. The LLB seal uses two lips of seals, similar to a razor blade that glides into a notch with light contact. The outer lip keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains the fat for smooth rotation and long intervals between the maintenance.
